Return Policy
Flooring Warehouse Direct is committed to providing you with exceptional customer service. We will do what it takes to make sure you are completely satisfied with your purchase.
Bear in mind all of the flooring products that Flooring Warehouse Direct offers contain the manufacturer warranty, to give you peace of mind that you are buying first quality, guaranteed products. As noted below, we handle returns within 15 days of the original purchase invoice date and request of an R.A.#. Thereafter, all applicable exchange and return responsibility is turned over to the manufacturer. Please note that warranty periods and services vary by manufacturer and product. You will want to become familiar with these warranties.
- Make sure to have your Order # available when you call Flooring Warehouse Direct.
- All returns require a Return Authorization Number. You must get RA # prior to making a return within 15 business days of receipt of items.
- If you decide to cancel any part of, or an entire order, you will be responsible to pay the original freight charge, the return freight charge, and a restocking fee ranging from 15% to 25%. On occasion, the original freight charge is not the freight charge that appears on your invoice. The actual freight that is paid to have an order delivered is normally much more than the amount listed on your invoice due to shipping promotions.
- There are no returns on tile products.
- Returns are not allowed on accessories, supplies, & sundries (Moldings, Glue, Underlayment, Cleaners, etc.).
- On order cancellations, contact Flooring Warehouse Direct Customer Service by telephone as soon as possible.
- If material has already been shipped and is in transit, you must make arrangements to return it. Flooring Warehouse Direct is not financially responsible for cancellations of orders that have already shipped.
- You are responsible for supplying product samples and photographs for allegedly damaged items. If product does have visible defects, please contact Flooring Warehouse Direct immediately and return shipping charges will be refunded.
- Material to be returned must be brought to a designated freight terminal after an RA # has been issued from Flooring Warehouse Direct.
- If your order was shipped on a skid or pallet, the product must be returned on the skid it was shipped on and in the same condition in which it was received.
- You must enclose the original packing list with the return.
- Any refused shipment without consent of Flooring Warehouse Direct or Flooring Warehouse Direct's authorization will be subject to all the costs associated with a return.
- Flooring Warehouse Direct is not responsible for any costs associated with repairing or replacing product that was installed with evident defects. Products not installed properly will not be considered defective.
- If a product is defective please stop opening cartons. If more than 2 cartons have been opened we will not be able to accept the return.
- Flooring Warehouse Direct is not responsible for return shipments damaged in return transit. Once returned material is received, examined, inspected, and restocked, a credit or refund will be issued. This process takes 4-6 weeks from the time the returned item is received.
